Love to get some feedback.

I love fabrics and clothes but really not the catwalk glamour kind. What I love are homemade style and unusual designers who make ageless and comfortable clothes for all types of women. I love antique lace and pretty things like ribbons and other embelishments. Ethnic clothes and all kinds of embroidery interest me and I love to look at piantings for inspiration too.All dress is fancy dress if you like as we are born nude Ha ! Ha!
So please if you have any comments ,ideas or favourites let me know, hope you enjoy Sweet Disorder!

Even though nobody seems to look at this blog,I like doing it Ho Ho!

I have always looked to paintings for fashion ideas.

So here are some that I would love to wear!

I love the hairstyle too!
For those wet days ?
For just loafing about on a Sunday,
Again I love this, the flower in the hair is lovely.
Lovely shades.
Worthy of a certain Swedish  designer!
I like the hem of the skirt in contrasting fabric.
Lovely white dress and floral jacket .
So why bother with some of the ugly styles pushed on us by the dictates of sensation seeking fashion houses when we can just all become works of art. I know that everyone will be rushing to their sewing machines to run up some of these little numbers!!!!!
Tescos would be much brighter if we wore some of these.
Just think how much nicer it would be to put the dustbins out wearing this.
Country walk?
A quick bit of weeding before tea.
So ladies brighten up this drab damp season and become works of art!
Cast off the tracky bottoms ,bin the t shirts and banish the trainers!
No longer be the ugly duckling with feathers all stubby and brown....... be a swan!
I am only partially in jest!

Heyy! I'm with you! Paintings are awesome for fashion inspiration. I really love all the pictures you posted -- beauuutiful! I have a file somewhere on my laptop with bunch of painting images I saved just so I can imitate the dress at some point :)

And on a practical side, in connection with the title of you post (whether anyone follows your blog or not) I'd humbly say that the font makes it a bit hard to read your words -- it's nice in the headings but for the bulk of text, it's a bit of a strain for eye and brain to follow even a sentence, or a paragraph of text. I'd love to hear what you're saying but admit, even in the above post WHICH I LOVED, I skipped some writing because the font is so hard to read. *just saying* xoxoxo, Bhakti

They are all wonderful paintings and fashion - but maybe a little impractical for modern day living - unless you spend all day wafting round.
